Between 2009 and 2020 my work was wood fired, the Abstract Japan exhibition at Mandell’s Gallery in the Autumn of 2021 gave me the opportunity to work in a completely new way, taking control once more of surfaces. New materials and techniques produce strong forms with striking surfaces, pushing at the boundaries of the clay and glazes, blurring the lines between Craft and Fine Art.                                                                                                                                        Photo credit.
